Bruce Kent

Bruce has been a life-long resident of Maryland residing in the Southwest suburbs of Baltimore. Married for over 46 years to his lovely wife, Marjorie, they have 6 adult children and 17 (and still counting) grandchildren. Their decision to be an influence in their children’s lives and to daily impact them led to their decision to homeschool. It was a decision they have never regretted. He and his wife are both ordained ministers, and have assisted in the opening of new churches in the Baltimore area. They have individually and together counseled couples on marriage issues.

Bruce has been involved with, and helping people in many areas of their lives since his high school years. This, of course, flowed over into the first aspect of his professional life, as an attorney, and continues now. In his 42 years as a practicing attorney, he assisted over 7000 clients in achieving success in their legal situations, including business formation and planning, estate planning and wealth preservation. He takes pride in the fact that he took the time to educate his clients concerning their particular, unique situation so that they understood the decision making process to achieve their goals.

Besides operating his own law firm, he served as an Assistant State’s Attorney, Juvenile Arbitrator, Juvenile Master and Arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau. He helped establish several juvenile programs including the Community Arbitration Program and Project Turnaround (modeled after Scared Straight).

It is his ambition to assist people to break through the walls of the ”box” that is holding them in and keeping them from getting to their next level of life, either in life or in business. Prior to leaving the legal profession, he became interested in coaching and training up leaders. He joined and is now certified through the John Maxwell Team . “I look forward to working with the team at Higher Impact to help others reach for and attained their goals, in their personal lives, businesses and relationships.”
